ARRRgGGh!

I've got things to go and do today but I can't drag myself away from this game.
Curses!!!

Cecemel responds:

:D I'm glad you liked it

thank you!

OI BOI!!! I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Seriously.

It is a real CRUEL game where you must make like and 80's gamer and get Track and Field 100 Meters on your ass. BUT!!! there is no finish line. I love it and you, make more button mashing games because you can and I love it!

Asvegren responds:

I love you too <3

Nice, but i have an idea.

Mate thats cool, but I'd have loved it if all the sprites you used were clearer.

You could use a scripted camera for the user to move around and zoom in and out (could be controled with cursors and +/-).

Keep it up.

Thank you

I really did enjoy it this time around, thanks for listening to the ideas.

I used to have a game where with the mouse, you controlled a circle and you could fire only in the direction you were going. rapid fire came in the form of a power up. Oh and there was crazy amounts of bad guy circles and other things, some had random paths but they were few but most just headed straight for your circle but at random speeds and the speed changes were subtle.

Take it easy

How do you do it?

You have sucsessfully made dotnoid crap.

V1.0 was best, can you make a v1.1 with the fixes I mentioned in my review on v1.0.

On the other hand I can't make flash games yet, so well done.

!!Bug Report!!

Hi mate, good game, But I found you can just leave the cursor on the edge of the big circle and BOOM, no dying FOREVER!! And Maybe the direction changes for the black dots should be a rounded to make them more predictable. That way people won't get pissed off when on just turns outta nowhere and kills them. And if you go out of the play zone then pause the game rather than end it.

Please have another go, cos i like these sort of games.

Best of luck!!

Wow Greatness = The Big Fat Tutorial

Really like it, Trying to apply the camera to one of my current flashes, but it is buggy.

I done everything you said in TBFT but the view when tested is the contents of the top-left quarter of the viewfinder. The aspect ratio of the camera matches that of the document too. Any further advice?

Great work by the way, with that tutorial I might not get blammed with my next portal entry.

Keep it up, and thanks.

PS any advice for the camera problem?

Helbereth responds:

Did you make sure your camera is a Movie Clip?

It HAS to be a movie clip to function.

Did you make sure to put the actionscript in the first frame of the MC?

Did you make sure to copy the entire actionscript?

Try copying and pasting it directly (don't miss anything).

Are you using Actionscript 2.0?

If not that might be the problem. I'm told this camera requires AS 2.0. Check your publish settings to find out.
